Nos recherches et expériences initiales avec le bois nous ont aidés à trouver deux types qui fournissaient les caractéristiques idéales pour nos produits.
Le noyer noir ( Juglans Nigra ) est un bois noble et robuste, cultivé de manière durable et plein de caractère avec un large noyau brun foncé et un aubier plus clair, souvent accentué de motifs nuageux.
Le chêne blanc ( Quercus Robur ) est un bois riche et robuste, cultivé de manière durable, qui se caractérise par ses anneaux de croissance annuels fortement prononcés et ses rayons vasculaires typiques, lui donnant un motif unique et un aspect distinctif.
